INFORMATION BUBBLES AND PAWS COLLECTS -

When you register or book an appointment, I collect your name, your dog’s name, address, email address, telephone number, emergency contact details, veterinary details and appointment history.

 

I keep relevant information about your dog, including their name, age, breed, colour, sex, health conditions, behaviour, temperament, likes, dislikes and grooming preferences.

 

Teeth-cleaning and Grooming records may include coat condition, products and equipment used, bathing, brushing, clipping, scissoring, nail trimming, services carried out and photographs where applicable.

HOW BUBBLES AND PAWS USES YOUR INFORMATION -

I use your information to manage bookings, provide safe grooming and teeth-cleaning services, maintain records, send appointment confirmations and reminders, contact you about appointments or emergencies, respond to enquiries and complaints and maintain financial records.

I use information where necessary to provide booked services, meet legal obligations or pursue legitimate business interests, such as maintaining grooming records and protecting the salon.

I may send promotional messages where permitted by law. You can opt out of marketing at any time without affecting essential appointment communications.

STORAGE & SHARING -

Your information is stored securely in my booking system. Any additional grooming or teeth-cleaning records, including paper records where applicable, are also kept securely.

 

I do not sell your personal information. Trusted service providers may process limited information to help me operate Bubbles and Paws, including booking, messaging and data-storage services.

 

I may also share relevant information with a veterinary practice in an emergency, with insurers where necessary, or where legally required.

 

Payments are accepted by cash or bank transfer. I do not store payment card details, although I may retain invoices and payment records for accounting purposes.

PHOTOGRAPHS & VIDEOS -

Your dog may be photographed or filmed before, during or after their groom.

 

Images may be kept as part of grooming records or used on the Bubbles and Paws website and social media alongside your dog’s name and breed.

 

If you would prefer your dog not to be photographed or filmed for website or social media use, please let me know. Your preference will be respected.

HOW LONG BUBBLES AND PAWS KEEP YOUR INFORMATION - 

 

I only keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed.

 

Registered clients who have never booked: If you register but do not book an appointment within 6 months, I will delete your registration details.

 

Clients who have attended an appointment: If you have not returned for 12 months, I will review your records and delete information that is no longer needed.

SMART CAMERAS -

 

Bubbles and Paws operates from a residential property. Smart cameras are in use for the safety and security of pets, clients and myself as a lone worker.

 

The camera inside the grooming salon has the audio turned off. The outdoor cameras record both video and audio for security and personal safety purposes and to allow me to communicate with clients.

 

Recordings are stored securely and are deleted after 30 days unless needed for legal matters.
